The Merry Go Round that Goes Round and Round

David has been at his sales meeting all week. Knowing this several months ago, I had to beg and plead for the girls' 2 grandmothers to come in town this week to help out. Reluctantly, they finally agreed. DeeDee (Dianne) got in town on Sunday night and then my mom (Gammy) got in town on Monday and we've have non-stop fun ever since. The girls have been spoiled and I've been spoiled having both of them here.

As an early Mother's Day treat, Ella and Finley treated DeeDee and Gammy to a trip to the zoo and to lunch afterwards. Ella has been to the Atlanta zoo a couple of times, but she's at the age now where she knows what's going on. Out of all the things there are to do at the zoo, like look at all the fun animals, what was she most excited about? "The merry go round that goes round and round". That's the only thing she talked about from the second we walked in until we left. Every time we saw an animal, she would say "I wanna go on merry go round that goes round and round". Shockingly, she was able to put that aside for a bit (after multiple promises of going on the "merry go round that goes round and round") and enjoy the animals. I probably said "the merry go round that goes round and round" at least 82 times that morning. She loved the elephants, birds (definitely not her mother's child), zebras, and "gaffes" (giraffes). And then finally, she was so excited to go on the "merry go round that goes round and round".
