Lake Tahoe

Two weeks ago, David and I flew out to Lake Tahoe for a wedding.  It was ok.  Just kidding.  The wedding and Lake Tahoe were the following things:  absolutely beautiful, best time ever, and crazy fun.  We headed out there a day early and stayed at the Ritz, compliments of Marriott points.  (I guess that's the silver lining when David traveled all the days a few years ago.  Free, nice hotel rooms).  It was a treat for us to stay at the Ritz and we loved it.  It was so fun and we spent the day with our dear friends, the Burkes.

The next two nights were spent at this quaint and cute bed and breakfast on the lake.  It was so "Tahoe-y" if I can even use that word because that was my first trip out there.  We spent the days just taking it easy, eating, and drinking.  What's not to love right?  And let me just say this, the lake is really big.  Like, huge.  And beautiful.

The wedding was absolutely, hands down, the most beautiful wedding ever.  First, Justin, David's buddy from college, and his wife, Victoria, are a beautiful couple.  And beautiful couples get married in beautiful places right?  Must be because they got married on a pier in the middle of Lake Tahoe.  There is a good chance that I might over-use the word beautiful when I describe their special day.  The reception, which was outside too, was incredible.  It was like it was right out of a bridal magazine or something.  Everything from the chandeliers to the flowers to the amazing band was perfect.   I'm so glad I married a man that likes to dance because this band was awesome and we had the best time out on the dance floor.  It was such a memorable weekend.  Justin and Vicky, thank you for including us in your wedding day and we wish you nothing but the best in your marriage.

Here are just a few pictures from the weekend.

The view from our room at the best bed and breakfast ever.  The picture is not that great, but you get the idea.

Most beautiful wedding ever.  Picture does not do it justice, but I didn't want to be "that" girl taking tons of pictures.
